A Rainy, Dreary Day - We made the best of it! - Day 39

Today was a sleep in day for EVERYONE. We love those days for sure. I woke up and enjoyed lounging in bed and reading a bit before actually getting out of bed. Josh and I made pancakes and bacon. It is fun to make brunch on the weekends now that we have no where to go.

Josh and I enjoyed a latte and relaxed morning before we decided what we were going to do today. We decided to do a little picking up in the basement. The kids helped with some small things, but it felt good to do a little bit down there today especially because it was a rainy dreary day here. When we stopped working in the basement, Josh went out to the Airstream to work on it. He is installing a new ceiling fan. He loves tinkering around it. I on the other hand, curled up under my electric blanket with a cup of tea and my book. Josh then decided to bottle some of his mead that he had in the basement. He bottled cherry, strawberry, and blueberry mead. We got to sample all of them, and WOW were they amazing. It will be fun to have as a treat while we are safe at home.

We ordered pizza tonight from Lou Malnati's. I wanted to try deep dish pizza at some point during the quarantine, so tonight seemed as good as any. The kids played XBox and had a nerf gun war tonight, and Josh and I watched a movie on Netflix.

Today was the perfect mix between getting some jobs done and relaxing. Hoping tomorrow can be a repeat of today. :)
