Catching some sunshine - Day 11

Today turned our similar to yesterday. The rain held off, so we tackled the mulch. Yep! Today we finished moving 20 yards of mulch! I am so proud of the kiddos. When I had it delivered, Josh was on board as long as he didn't have to do it. Well, we did it. The kids and I finished laying all the mulch today and it looks GREAT! I couldn't be more proud. I walked 20,000 steps (over 8 miles in my own yard) today and that doesn't include my arm and back workout from shoveling and using the wheelbarrow.

For dinner, we celebrated and ordered Craft'd's Family Special. It was 4 cheeseburgers, a footlong grilled cheese, a large container of mac and cheese, a large container of tater tots, a large container of french fries, and a large container of chicken tenders. It was the perfect ending to a hard day's work. Josh worked from home from his quarantine bunker Airstream. Then completed some jobs on the Airstream. That made him a happy camper.

After dinner, we had date night in, but out (in the airstream). We watched a movie and enjoyed NOT being in the house. It was the perfect ending to a long, but productive week. I know this COVID-19 "shelter-in-place" has been trying for everyone. I am thankful to have a warm house and food to feed my family. I am also trying my best to check in on those that might need a lift. I am hopeful that we can come out on the other side of this stronger than we were before and maybe even a little closer to those we love and with compassion for others. Happy Friday everyone!
