I usually meal plan for 2 weeks before doing our grocery shopping. With our situation currently, that isn't the case. Due to the craziness at the grocery store, I bought what I could and have been finding recipes that I could make with what I have. Tonight is fish and greens. My kiddos are great at eating ALMOST anything I put on the table. Thank goodness. Pinterest is my best friend for recipes. Here is what I am making tonight with sautéed kale.
Sitting down to dinner is a big deal for our family. We ALWAYS try to do this. It is getting more difficult as the kids get older, but we usually accomplish this 5/7 days a week. Of course with our extended break and quarantining, we are getting lots of family time. Each night at dinner we share a rose, something we liked about day, and a thorn, something that wasn't our favorite. We have also added in something we are thankful for. This helps keep us grounded and focused on each other.
