Friday Eve - Day 78

Today is a big day in the Ruland household. We are having central air installed. We have lived in our house for over 6 years without central air. We have a centrally located wall unit, but this house does not have central air. We have managed quite well, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited about having central air. I love open windows, and hope to not run it often, but also look forward to being able to turn it on when it is humid.

With the work going on at the house, we went to Grandma and Papa's house with all the kids and the dogs while Josh manned the fort from his Airstream office. We enjoyed the pool for the day which the kids LOVED. The kids were also excited about their first sleepover at Grandma and Papa's. They are staying in the basement bedroom together away from Grandma and Papa to keep the distance, but they are excited none the less.

I will be going back down tomorrow while they finish the central air work. We are going to work in the garden doing some weeding and maybe some more planting. :). I also must say I have enjoyed the deep conversations with Brayden as he continues his class in Criminal Justice at JJC. He is definitely learning a lot.
