Happy Easter - He is Risen! - Day 27

The kids woke up this morning SUPER excited. They were so excited that it was Easter morning. They came running in to our bedroom to wake us up. I will admit, I wasn't crazy about crawling out of bed that early. We got the dogs situated and woke Brayden up. He too wasn't crazy about the early morning wake up. After everyone was situated, the kids searched to see if the Easter bunny had been able to deliver baskets. They found that he had indeed delivered Easter baskets and also hid quite a few eggs around the house for an Easter egg hunt. After baskets, we celebrated Easter with our church online. I will admit, I enjoy church snuggled up on the couch.

We got ready to leave and head down to visit Grandparents outside. We were so thankful for the sunshine today to be able to go visit both my parents and Josh's mom and step-dad today. We spent time hunting Easter eggs and finding baskets hidden outside. They found some other things that weren't left by the Easter bunny too. Check out the pictures! All 4 kids had a great time. We also celebrated Emerson's birthday a few days late, but it was fun to be able to do that together. The two oldest boys also practiced their archery. They had a great time shooting out of the stand that Papa put up in the backyard.

After some fun and our packed lunch at Grandma and Papa's house, we headed to Grandma Judy and Grandpa Mike's house. They are set to move at the end of this month, so we definitely wanted to go and visit. They recently sold their house and are moving to Alabama. We are super sad to see them go as they are only 45 minutes from our house now. It was a fun #physicallydistanced visit on the front porch.
