Monotony - Day 30

Well my roll stopped. I was exhausted this morning after getting up to teach. I knew it was too good to be true. Emerson and I crawled back in bed after teaching. They were putting new gutters on the house next door bright and early this morning, so Emerson woke up earlier than he wanted to as well. Ella had her online IEW class at 8:30am. She has 2 more weeks and then is done for the year. I can't believe she will be done with writing! She has done a phenomenal job and learned a ton this year. I have loved IEW as a great base for writing for all of our kiddos. They just changed their curriculum for the coming year, so we are holding off one more year for Emerson. IEW now starts at 4th grade. He will tag along with Ella for some of it next year with some modifications to get a little taste.

Emerson had two fun classes on outschool today. He loved the drawing and comic strip writing about Elephant and Piggie. Micah continues to do great with remote learning. Brayden is as well. High school remote learning has been interesting to say the least. Ella took a hair style class on outschool this afternoon as well. It was fun. The lady that taught it was in Canada. Josh continues to work from his quarantined office in the Airstream. I often tease him that he has the quietest work from home office ever. I will admit it has been a little chilly out there lately though. Thankfully he has some good heaters. Speaking of cold, we are suppose to get 3-5 inches of snow tonight! I am not ready for that. I would definitely prefer spring temperatures.

After school work today the younger 3 had some fun with some experiments Micah got for Christmas. They had fun making crystals and erupting a volcano. I was able to do workout number 4 for this week. I wasn't feeling it, but got it done none the less. This afternoon Josh and I went for a drive. It was nice to get out in the sunshine before the snow comes in. I came home and made Jambalaya for dinner and then we watched the ABC Disney Sing-a-long. Ella and Emerson perfected their fort that they will be sleeping in tonight. It is quite the design and has 3 rooms. They even have a guest room. I think they are even hopeful this will all be over someday. :). Until then...Happy Friday Eve!
