Today Illinois started opening up a bit. Here are some things that are changing. All gatherings of 10 people or fewer are allowed. State Parks are opening. Campgrounds are opening with proper social distancing. Restaurants can open with outdoor seating and proper social distancing.
We won't be changing much in our household much. We are still social distancing. We will be going out to get groceries and necessary items. We hope to see some close friends outside in the backyard. Other than that, I think we will be continuing our social distancing.
After our slow morning, we packed up to head to the pool. We packed lunches and grabbed our swim bag. We even got Josh to come with us and work from my parent's. I love having him work from home for sure.
The kids have been bugging me to go swimming, so they were super excited. We even got Brayden to go with us too. We did some swimming, gardening, and a few odd jobs. Brayden helped Dad put on the top to the gazebo. The boys also did some target shooting. The sun was hot and the pool was warm. We had a great day. Josh was able to do his webinar and still get some downtime.
We even had dinner with them. This was our first time staying for dinner. We grilled steaks and asparagus. We cooked at ate outside and it was nice. We are doing our very best to keep Mom and Dad safe while still getting to visit them. It was a great day.
On the way home, we got a glimpse at some of the outdoor dining under the new phase. I definitely will be waiting to go out to restaurants. We can keep supporting local restaurants with take out. We came home and had a friend over for a drink in the backyard. It was a wonderful Friday.
