We took it very easy today. I was a little uneasy after seeing the weather reports last night for today. Thankfully for us so far, the weather has been mild. Josh and I enjoyed a latte out on the back porch. The weather was so nice. I could use a little sunshine, but the warm weather felt amazing.
Ella has decided to do as much research as possible to convince Josh and I to buy a horse. She loves showing our dog Mia and started horseback riding lessons last fall. She would love to show horses. I have realized that is a hard world to get into if you aren't already in it, AND it is a very expensive world to get into. Maybe I need to give her more schoolwork to keep her occupied.
As for jobs around the house, I got 4 loads of laundry folded. Thank goodness the baskets were taking over. I also defrosted our freezer with the help of my oldest boys and hubby. My hubby is a whiz at Tetris, so I new he would be a huge help with rearranging the freezer. We also started putting our storage room in the basement back together. Just a few small jobs on a quiet Saturday.
We enjoyed a dinner of meatloaf, baked potatoes, corn from the freezer (that we put up last summer), and homemade applesauce. It was wonderful to sit down and enjoy a wonderful homemade meal together. We watched a family movie together. Lady and the Tramp Live Action was a huge hit. We also started a puzzle together. We managed to get the outside together. That made me happy.

Josh and I are currently watching another movie and enjoying Wine and Cheese Company's Date Night In package. He picked up 3 cheeses and a bottle of wine. It is YUMMY! Praying for good weather for everyone tonight. Prayers for those affected by weather tonight. Prayers for those dealing with the awful thing that is COVID-19. Please stay home and stay safe.
